OUR HISTORY

At Pawmetto Hounds, we have taken something which started as a family passion and absolute love for the basset hound breed and turned it into a successful breeding program. We strive to produce quality puppies that meet the breed standard but also have a well-rounded friendly disposition.  We breed responsibly with the help and guidance of a reproductive specialist and our local veterinarian. We have done the appropriate health and genetic testing on all our breeding dogs to help ensure the highest quality and preservation of the breed.
