Our History

At Pawmetto Hounds, we have taken something that started as a family passion and an absolute love for the Basset Hound breed and turned it into a successful breeding program. We strive to produce quality puppies that meet the breed standard while also having a well-rounded, friendly disposition. We breed responsibly with the help and guidance of a veterinarian reproductive specialist as well as our local veterinarian. We have conducted the appropriate health and genetic testing on our breeding dogs to help ensure the highest quality and preservation of the breed.
