I recently brought home a puppy from Pawmetto Hounds and the entire process has been a wonderful experience. From the time I first got in contact with Robyn, she has been so helpful. Throughout the pregnancy and the birth of the puppies, she kept us informed of what was going on every step of the way and was so accommodating when it came time to bring my girl home. Poppy came home with a huge bag full of stuff to help her adjust as well as a binder full of just about everything you could need to have a successful start to your life with a new puppy. Poppy came 100% health and has the sweetest temperament. I would recommend Pawmetto Hounds to anyone who is looking to add a Basset Hound to their family.

My husband and I have been married for 35 years and have raised numerous dogs together we have come across some good breeders and some bad breeders Pawmetto Hounds is excellent they have been absolutely wonderful from beginning to end Robyn is always available to answer your questions She and her family truly love their dogs and it shows Our Abbey is well Adjusted extremely social and is responding very well to her new surroundings like she’s been here forever I would highly recommend any family that is looking for a gorgeous Bassett to use her services

My husband owned a basset hound when he was young. During our marriage, my daughter & I had dogs, cats, a horse, fish, a bearded dragon, a rabbit and a frog at various times. Once our daughter moved out with the pets she had at that time we only had one dog. My husband expressed interest in a Bassett Hound. We started looking into a rescue then checking into the possibility of a puppy. That’s when I discovered Pawmetto Hounds. From day one, Robyn was very informative and answered all of my questions. I am very concerned when ‘buying a puppy’ as I am very well aware of many puppy mills are disguised as breeders. But with the guidelines that Robyn has in place, I felt very comfortable with her. She will not sell to just anyone. She is very protective and loving over her fur-babies. And I absolutely would recommend her to anyone looking for a Bassett Hound. She sends pictures & video throughout the entire ‘waiting period’ both on the family page as well as texting directly. Once you select a name, she will call them by that name until they are in their new home. We were able to meet with Robyn during one of the vet visits to meet her personally and love on our precious baby. Our fur-baby is absolutely precious!! So loving, well adjusted and socialized. When we were able too bring her home, she came home with a large bag of goodies to help her acclimate as well as a binder with wonderful information. I cannot say enough about Robyn and their family!!!

have wanted another Bassett for years and my wife found the perfect one for me. I would recommend Pawnetto Hounds to anyone looking for a Bassett They take great care in qualifying owners as well as raising the pups. Our vet stated how perfect the records were kept and the condition of Bandette was awesome. Looking forward to many years of happiness. My wife dose not know it yet but I’m getting her one soon and will seek another Pawmetto Hound Bassett. Our secret. LOL

Finding a responsible breeder isn't always easy. I looked carefully before contacting Pawmetto Hounds and I can tell you I can't imagine finding anyone better. Robyn and her family have a genuine love for their pups and are particular who gets to adopt them. They won't just hand them over with anyone who can pay. Our puppy came with an amazing "baby book" full of information, pictures, toys, blankets, food and anything else he might need. Robyn still stays in touch and is interested in how our pup in doing. If you are looking for a basset breeder, trust me you won't be disappointed.

Got my newest fur baby from them and could not be more pleased! She came pre-loved and still continues to get checked in on. They are extremely thorough when it comes to their vetting and health (including extensive records on each and every vet/shot visit!). They work hard to socialize their puppies to ensure they are ready to be family dogs. Couldn't recommend enough!

My husband and I welcomed Stout to our family about a month ago. He has been a true joy! I am so glad to have found Pawmetto Hounds! This is the most well adjusted and socialized puppy I have ever had. I can’t say enough about the fabulous care each and every pup received. We searched carefully for a breeder that loved it's puppies as much as we would. And we found them here. Our pup is healthy, well adjusted to people, and bringing a lot of love to our home. The care and support from Palmetto hounds has been extraordinary. They are not about unloading the next litter. They are about finding suitable homes for dogs they love. We couldn't be happier with choosing them to provide us our long eared chonky boy.

Pawmetto Hounds has been wonderful from beginning to end, and keeps up with me as my puppy grows and changes. The whole family took care of the hounds from birth to adoption in their home. Letting my puppy get accustomed to sounds and noises, called her by name so she would know it when she came home, and always kept me updated with pictures and sweet messages. I was so pleased and delighted with Robyn's thoughtfulness and care to detail. During the pick up she and her family met me half way, spent time telling me all about the paperwork, and showing me a special album she had made of my pup. Again such care to all the details. Pawmetto Hounds is a great organization run by a truly kind, thoughtful and wonderful family.

Pawmetto Hounds goes above and beyond. They provide pictures and videos of the puppies. They make sure you are more than prepared for your new puppy. They send home a care package and a binder full of information.

The love and care given to the puppies, before and after the puppies go to their furever homes, is extremely moving.
Palmetto Hounds is there after the adoption process to answer any and all questions and concerns. They make first time families feel comfortable and informed.
The hardest part is not wanting a puppy from each litter.

When I started looking for a new puppy it didn't take long to find Pawmetto hounds through a very wonderful hound group.
when I contacted them they had a new litter of all girls. I was looking for a female.
Robyn was awesome to talk to and very accommodating through the whole process.
I am from another state so I would not be able to see the puppies in person. Robyn sent many pics and videos of the puppies about every other day. she was very considerate of me and allowed me to take my time and choose a puppy. After I chose my puppy and gave her a name I recieved more and more pics and videos focusing on my puppy. it was very evident that Robyn and her family loves each puppy and they were given the very best care.
Robyn also used my puppys name so when I recieved my puppy she already knew her name.
when I had reservations about transporting my puppy Robyn and her family offered to drive her to me... approx 10 hours drive one way.
They brought me my baby and I truly enjoyed meeting her, her husband, and her son! they met my other basset baby, and also fell in love with her as well.
I had such a good feeling, and experience with Pawmetto hounds! I recieved a loved, healthy, beautiful baby puppy. I met new friends, and it was an experience I will always treasure.
The love and commitment to raising healthy happy puppies is evident in every member of the Pawmetto hound family!
I highly recommend Pawmetto hounds to any one looking to expand their family with a wonderful basset hound!
I would totally consider buying another puppy from Pawmetto hounds in the future!
